Here Comes the Bean...

Bean is a nickname we have had for Kristina for as long as Ive known her, which is about 17 years.  She was so scrawny and gangly as a little girl...a string bean!  It's been so crazy to watch her transform from that 11 year old girl with glasses into a gorgeous woman.  Kristina planned most all of her wedding on her own, I just stepped in during the few weeks leading up to the big day to help with the last minute details and alleviate a little stress.  It was definitely a hectic afternoon during set up, but everything turned out beautifully and after so many years of dating (they are high school sweethearts) they are finally Mr and Mrs Grimm!

A few pictures Mr. Tylaska snapped right after we got the reception room set up...

And here are some shots by their photographer, Michelle Peyronet....

The saga continues on 5.27.11...

Boy, Brandi really undersold her engagement picture concepts to me when we talked about them last month.  She told me she had a few ideas, but was worried that she and TJ might look awkward in the photos.  These are some of the cutest and most original ideas Ive ever seen, not to mention they fit their personalities spot on, which is my favorite thing about anything wedding related as we all know.  And awkward?  No freakin way, they range from cutesy to sweet to down right sexy!  Great ideas guys and not to mention how super their photog Tracy Autem is!  Here is just a sampling from the shoot....

CH + Science = Chemistry

Ive been best friends with Crystal since I was 16 years old, without mentioning how old I am, I will just say we have been friends for a looong time!  Needless to say, with us both getting married not only in the same year, but within 2 months of each other...it was a hectic year!  Crystal wanted to plan most of her wedding on her own, so I just stepped in every now and then with advice and suggestions.  Her now husband Karl is a chemist, so I wanted to throw in some of those science elements to personalize their wedding a bit and make it unique to who they are.  I believe we nicknamed Karl "Science" about 2 or 3 years ago, so I thought the beakers, test tubes, and the elements from the periodic table "table numbers" were all more than appropriate.  Crystal and Karl had a very tight budget, but a small budget does not mean you can't have the wedding of your dreams as the following pics will prove.

Here are some detail shots from the reception before everyone arrived that Mr. Tylaska shot...
