Facebook is where it's at!

So, I'm not so great at keeping up with this blog as some of you may have noticed.  It is also a pretty lame blog, so I mostly just post everything on our Facebook page.  Having said that, I am looking into getting an entirely new blog - something that matches the rest of my branding and a place that people want to come to and is easy to navigate.  Until then, please check us out on Facebook!  I post pics from every wedding we do on there as well as links to things I find helpful for the bride to be, or things I am just currently drooling over in the wedding world.

The Beej and The Teej

So much fun planning this wedding!!  Brandi had so many ideas of what she wanted, like seriously, so many!  She wanted books, she wanted movies, she wanted birdcages, she likes pink and vintage - but she also wanted black and white and something classic.  What do you expect from an Aggie?  Lol, totally kidding B!  I was able to bring almost all of these ideas together into one cohesive look - had to ditch the movies though, we were starting to look like wedding theme hoarders!  The day went off so perfect, I don't think we had any problems at all - that rarely happens!  As usual I missed the ceremony as I was tending to other things, but I heard it was just beautiful and super emotional - no surprise, these two are so in love it kinda makes your tummy hurt, haha!  Anyways, I ended up keeping the black and white base to give Brandi the classic style she was going for, but threw in punches of pink with the florals.  We kept everything streamlined by using a running theme of their silhouettes along with a black and white striped grosgrain ribbon which we used hanging above the ceremony and on the centerpieces.  We rented black and white striped napkins from BBJ Linens to carry that look on to the edges of the tables.  Old black birdcages and books were used on the tables as well to give Brandi that vintage undertone she wanted.  Here are some pictures shot by the ever wonderful Tracy Autem.
